How To Make An Amazing Protein Shake
By: Clay Yoren

Most people are surprised when I show them what's possible with a properly prepared protein shake.

Protein shakes should not only taste amazing, but they should be packed with a day's worth of nutrition, too. So why do so many people suffer for bland, watered-down junk?

I'm going to give you a list of my favorite protein shake recipe "tips". Use these every time you make a protein shake.

Tip #1: Use a high quality protein powder

Not all protein powders are made alike! Most are bottom-of-the-barrel, low quality junk. I highly recommend researching and purchasing the highest-quality protein powder you can buy. The taste and texture will make your shakes incredible.

Tip #2: Use pasteurized egg whites instead of water

Want thick, creamy shakes every time without adding many extra calories? Replace your water -- or at least part of it -- with pasteurized egg whites. When blended up, the taste is amazing -- and extremely rich and creamy.

Tip #3: Use frozen vegetables instead of ice

This one always surprises people. If you toss frozen vegetables into your shakes -- specifically brocolli, cauliflour, and/or carrots -- then you won't even notice the difference between ice. But your body will notice, and it'll thank you for the extra two or three servings of veggies.

Tip #4: Use sugar-free jell-o pudding mix

Toss in half a packet of sugar-free jell-o pudding mix and watch your shake become a thick, frothy treat with hardly any extra calories.

Try these tips and hacks in your next protein shake and expect to be pleasantly surprised with the outcome!
